Digital Wallet Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

These Digital Wallet Terms and Conditions (“Digital Wallet Terms”) govern your use of a digital wallet to make purchases and transactions using your Plus Credit Union (“Plus Credit Union”) debit card (“Card”). Please read these terms carefully before adding your Card to any digital wallet.

By adding your Plus Credit Union Card to a digital wallet, you agree to be bound by these Digital Wallet Terms, as well as your existing Cardholder Agreement, Account Agreement, and any applicable schedules of fees and disclosures. These Digital Wallet Terms are in addition to — and do not replace — any terms or conditions that may be required by the digital wallet provider.

1. Definitions

“Digital Wallet” means a mobile application or electronic device feature (including but not limited to Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or any similar service) that stores payment card credentials and allows you to make purchases or transactions using a mobile device, wearable, or other compatible hardware.

“Cardholder” means the Plus Credit Union member whose eligible debit or credit card is provisioned to a digital wallet.

“Device” means the smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, or other hardware used to access or operate a digital wallet.

“Token” means the unique digital identifier used to represent your Card credentials within a digital wallet in place of your actual card number.

2. Eligibility and Enrollment

To use a digital wallet with your Plus Credit Union Card, you must:

  • Be a member in good standing with Plus Credit Union;

  • Have an active Plus Credit Union debit card that is eligible for digital wallet use;

  • Own or have authorized access to a compatible Device; and

  • Agree to these Digital Wallet Terms.

Plus Credit Union reserves the right to determine which Cards are eligible for digital wallet use and may change eligibility requirements at any time with appropriate notice.

3. Adding Your Card to a Digital Wallet

To add your Plus Credit Union Card to a digital wallet, follow the enrollment instructions provided by your wallet provider. During enrollment, you may be asked to verify your identity. Plus Credit Union may use one or more verification methods, including:

  • One-time passcode (OTP) sent to your phone number or email address on file;

  • Verification by calling Plus Credit Union Member Services; or

  • Other authentication methods as required.

Plus Credit Union may approve, decline, or place conditions on the provisioning of your Card to a digital wallet at our discretion, including for fraud prevention or security purposes.

4. Use of Your Digital Wallet

Once your Card is provisioned to a digital wallet, you may use it to make purchases at merchants that accept contactless or digital wallet payments, subject to the following:

  • Transactions made using your digital wallet are subject to the same terms, conditions, limits, and fees as transactions made with your physical Card;

  • Daily transaction limits and available balances applicable to your Card account apply equally to digital wallet transactions;

  • You are responsible for all transactions made using your Card in a digital wallet, whether authorized by you or not, except as provided under applicable law and your Cardholder Agreement;

  • The use of your digital wallet may not be available in all locations or for all transaction types.

5. Security and Device Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Device and digital wallet. You agree to:

  • Protect your Device with a passcode, biometric lock, or other security method offered by your Device;

  • Never share your Device passcode or biometric credentials with any third party;

  • Notify Plus Credit Union immediately if your Device is lost, stolen, or compromised;

  • Notify Plus Credit Union immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your Card through a digital wallet.

You may report a lost or stolen Device or suspected unauthorized transactions by contacting Plus Credit Union Member Services at (702) 871-4746 or visiting us at 1900 S Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.

6. Removing Your Card from a Digital Wallet

You may remove your Card from a digital wallet at any time through the wallet application settings or by contacting Plus Credit Union. If your Card is reported lost or stolen, or your account is closed or restricted, Plus Credit Union may remove your Card from the digital wallet without prior notice. Removing a Card from a digital wallet does not close your Plus Credit Union account or cancel your physical Card.

7. Third-Party Wallet Providers

Digital wallet services are provided by third-party companies (e.g., Apple, Google, Samsung). Plus Credit Union is not responsible for the operation, availability, or security of any third-party digital wallet service. Your use of a digital wallet is also governed by the terms and conditions of the applicable wallet provider, which may collect, store, or process your information independently of Plus Credit Union. Plus Credit Union does not endorse any specific digital wallet provider and is not liable for any losses, errors, or damages resulting from your use of a third-party digital wallet service.

8. Privacy

When you add your Card to a digital wallet, Plus Credit Union may share limited information with the wallet provider or card network as necessary to provision and support your digital wallet. Your use of Plus Credit Union Card in a digital wallet is also subject to Plus Credit Union's Privacy Policy, available at pluscu.org/privacy-policy.

Transaction data generated through your digital wallet use may be collected and used by the wallet provider in accordance with their privacy policy, which is separate from Plus Credit Union's Privacy Policy.

9. Fees

Plus Credit Union does not charge a fee for adding your Card to a digital wallet or for using your Card through a digital wallet. However, standard fees and charges applicable to your Card account continue to apply, including but not limited to overdraft fees, foreign transaction fees, and any other fees disclosed in your Fee Schedule.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Plus Credit Union is not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from:

  • Your inability to use a digital wallet due to technical failures of the wallet provider, network, or Device;

  • Unauthorized access to your Device or digital wallet caused by your failure to maintain appropriate security;

  • Actions or omissions of third-party digital wallet providers; or

  • Interruptions in digital wallet service outside of Plus Credit Union's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Digital Wallet Terms limits Plus Credit Union's liability as otherwise required by applicable federal or state law, including Regulation E (Electronic Fund Transfer Act) protections for debit card transactions.

11. Changes to These Terms

Plus Credit Union may update these Digital Wallet Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes as required by applicable law. Your continued use of a digital wallet with your Plus Credit Union Card after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Digital Wallet Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada and applicable federal law, consistent with your existing Cardholder Agreement and Account Agreement with Plus Credit Union.
