Blind Center of Nevada
The Blind Center of Nevada offers programs and activities, both on and off-site, that encourage independence and improve the quality of life for individuals with visual limitations. The major purpose of The Blind Center of Nevada is to meet the challenges of the blind and visually impaired and create new hope for all who have lost the gift of sight.
Changing Direction Foundation
Changing Direction Foundation is dedicated to teens developing self-confidence, leadership, passion, communication, focus, values, and strength that helps them in life. They send teens to a leadership and personal development retreat to acquire the skills and passion to be successful. With the training, teens will become positive role models in their own lives and impact those around them by influencing others to reach their full potential.
Children's Miracle Network
Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children¹s hospitals across North America. Each year the 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
Las Vegas Showgirlz
The Las Vegas Showgirlz is a professional women’s tackle football in the city of Las Vegas. They were started in the summer of 2005 were voted into the Women’s Professional Football League in November of 2005. The Showgirlz continue to be the leading Women’s Football Team on the field and off, garnering the nation’s top female athletes.
People to People Student Ambassador
Being a student ambassador for people to people students enjoy hands-on learning opportunities as they are immersed in the arts, sports and family life of cultures around the world. They have exciting overseas adventures and earn transferable high school and college credits through the programs.
Relay for Life
Funds raised through Relay for Life benefit cancer research, education, advocacy efforts and services. They work year round to inform people from all backgrounds about the prevention and detection of cancer.
Silverado High School Dance
The purpose of their programs are to provide educational experiences not otherwise provided in the curriculum, which will develop character, ethics and manners in students.
Southern Nevada Chapter NECA
Southern Nevada Chapter NECA represents, promotes, and advances the interests of the technical electrical contracting industry. They are dedicated to their members and meet their commitment through numerous programs designed to help members take advantage of technological innovations, meet the challenges of a changing economy, secure fair representation in the legislative and regulatory processes, avail themselves of trained and highly skilled employees and market and deliver the best possible services to customers.
Sun City Summerlin
Sun City Summerlin is a 55 year age-restricted community organized in the City of Las Vegas. The development is home to over 12,500 residents from all parts of the United States. The community’s purpose is to create an atmosphere which encourages new and old residents to maintain the active lifestyle they have sought by moving to the community.
Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events they have invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill their promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
